PM Modi’s Arrival in Chennai

On the 19th of January, at 4:50 PM, Prime Minister Modi will arrive in Chennai via a special flight from Bangalore. A warm welcome awaits him at the airport, where Governor RN Ravi, Chief Minister MK Stalin, ministers, and BJP state leaders will be present. From there, PM Modi will proceed to Nehru Stadium for the inauguration of the ‘Khelo India’ competition.

‘Khelo India’ Competition Details

The ‘Khelo India’ competition is scheduled to take place in Chennai, Madurai, Trichy, and Coimbatore from the 19th to the 31st of January. Over 6,000 athletes under the age of 18 are expected to participate in various events. PM Modi will spend the night at Raj Bhavan on the 19th and leave for Srirangam the next day. In Srirangam, PM Modi will devote time to the temple from 11 AM to 12:40 PM before heading to Rameswaram at 2:10 PM. The night will be spent at Sri Ramakrishna Mutt, followed by a morning bath in Rameswaram Agnitirtha Kadali on the 21st.

Ayodhya Ram Temple Water Collection

A significant highlight of PM Modi’s tour includes collecting holy water from the sea at Arichal Munai for the Ayodhya Ram Temple. The water will be collected in the morning, and by 10:25 AM, PM Modi will visit the Kodanda Ram Temple, concluding his temple tour.
